Look Closer is operated by Lyrids OÜ ("we", "our", "us"), Harju maakond, Tallinn, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Lasnamäe tn 4b-26, 11412, Estonia. By using the Look Closer mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Service Description

Look Closer is an AI powered conversation analysis tool that provides insights, scores, and coaching based on your chat conversations. All results are generated by artificial intelligence and are for informational and entertainment purposes only. AI generated insights may not always be accurate and should not be considered professional advice.

2. No Professional Advice

Look Closer does not provide professional psychological, therapeutic, or relationship counseling. AI generated insights should not be treated as definitive judgments or professional advice. If you are in a crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified professional or a local helpline.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the content you upload.
  • By uploading conversations or screenshots, you confirm that you have the right to analyze this content and that all participants have given their consent where required by law.
  • Do not use the service for harassment, stalking, monitoring without consent, or any illegal purpose.
  • You must be at least 17 years old to use the app, in line with our App Store age rating.

4. AI Limitations

  • Analysis results are AI generated estimations, not facts.
  • Scores and insights may not accurately reflect real relationship dynamics.
  • The coach feature provides general guidance, not professional counseling.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI generated content.

5. Subscriptions & Auto Renewal

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store.
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen plan.
  • Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings app → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

EU Customers

For users in the European Union and European Economic Area, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital subscriptions under EU consumer law. However, by activating your subscription and beginning to use Premium features (including starting any free trial), you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you have used the service.

If you are an EU/EEA consumer and wish to exercise your withdrawal right before activating Premium features, please contact us at support@lookcloser.app within 14 days of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

Look Closer and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Lyrids OÜ and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms or use the app in a manner that could harm other users or third parties.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lyrids OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. EU Digital Services Act (DSA)

For users in the European Union, in compliance with the Digital Services Act:

  • Look Closer is operated by Lyrids OÜ, an Estonia-based company within the EU
  • Our designated point of contact for EU authorities and users: support@lookcloser.app
  • Reports of illegal content or terms violations can be sent to support@lookcloser.app
  • Decisions on content moderation can be appealed by replying to the original notice within 30 days
